Edit Eve Api Permission not working

TEA Version?
1.2.1.147
SMF Version?
2.0 gold

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. As a non admin user, try to edit your own api details

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I should be able to edit the details, but it just shows me what the view eve 
api (others) permission would give me.

Please provide any additional information below.

If i give the group the edit permission for any api, i can edit it, as well as 
everyone else's (as expected), but removing it brings it back to being able to 
only view your own, not editing it.
