Add the ability to create multi-page article.
This can be done as an "add new page" in the "Write" tab or add separator to 
textile markup(such as .page)

Textile is a text markup, not a method for structuring site architecture, so I 
don't think that's an option.

I am interested in multi-page functionality though, if done right, just not 
sure how it could be done. A txp:pagebreak tag that could be inserted at the 
point in a article where you want the page break maybe? But then how do we 
handle the pagination, and the URL structure?

You could also argue that this is plugin territory, not core functionality.
