Incorrect span class on login messagepane

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Do a password reset from the login screen on a web server with no MTA.
2. Note the messagepane: it throws the could_not_mail error.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The span (id="message") inside the div (id="message") has class="success", it 
should be class="error".

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
4.5.5, Ubuntu 14.04.
