I like the idea but I prefer "Tabs" like a browser does.

c-sanchez commented 4 years ago

yeah, tabs is the idea for images in "full screen", in both Phoxo and PictBear it's possible, check they have minimize/maximize/close buttons. in pictbear we have the tabs, however in both it's possible change tab with "ctrl+tab", like browser heh.

That's final fantasy (the pictures)?

Heh nop, is Castlevania Symphony of the night, are Alucard, Richter and Maria :)

lainz commented 4 years ago

Ok, I just played some SNES or GBA of Castlevania, not the PSX one. But I can't remember the names.

c-sanchez commented 4 years ago

From GBA I've played all, Circle of the moon, Harmony of dissonance and Aria of sorrow this probably the "spiritual sucessor" of Symphony of the night and one of the best in the franchise.

The art style of Ayami Kojima's is cool, however in Castlevania games for NDS was used a anime style instead. Maybe you find interesting this topic :P http://www.romhacking.net/forum/index.php?topic=22445.0

That's a possible enhancement indeed. That would need lots of refactoring I suppose.

I support urgently this feature request. I know NO other image editor which does not offer multi images processing.

But: Tabs are NOT necessary. It would help if users could access other, previously opened pictures through a (new ) menu "window" with 1 submenu per open image.

This should be implementable easily.

c-sanchez commented 2 years ago

Well, now that you mention it, it is true that the tabs in an image editor are not very useful other than changing the document, I guess with an option to enable or disable a tab bar would be fine, for everyone's taste. I am currently using PhotoLine, and in fact, I usually work with multiple documents but I never use tabs, I just switch documents with Ctrl+Tab. It also gives the list of documents in the same menu among other options.

By the way, this program is apparently very little known, but it is really the best I've found, basically has everything of photoshop and a much lighter and faster program.
