Fix for repeated ToC entries? #1

Thanks for this resource as it made the process of using krantz.cls very easy for my book with CRC Press.

I see you noted that a fix for the duplicated "Preface" and "References" was on your to-do list. Have you made any progress on this, as my output still includes these duplicates and I cannot figure it out on my end.

Thank you.

Thanks @bcongelio, glad you found it helpful. Not yet, but my colleague @bradleyboehmke and I are working on a second edition of our previous CRC book (https://github.com/koalaverse/homlr-2ed), and we’ve made the switch to Quarto so I suspect I’ll revisit this very soon!

If I remember correctly krantz is taking care of adding to the TOC (or something else), but what you could try is opting-out pandoc inserting the headers in the TOC You can do that by adding .unlisted class to the header.

See https://quarto.org/docs/output-formats/pdf-basics.html#table-of-contents

# References {.unnumbered .unlisted}

Thanks @cderv I’ll be sure to give this a try!
