I had to upgrade a few dependencies to get it working. I tried not to touch anything that wasn't directly related.

I could, if you want, also upgrade everything to the latest version and test it all out for you.

Bruce, after sleeping on this, I think maybe it would be better just to leave these in my library. That way the maintenance stays with me and doesn't require a PR to you. The primary benefit to it being here is possibly a little more visibility, but that doesn't really justify the cost.
