What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When I tap on the VLC Remote icon, I expect the application to launch. Instead,
it crashes, with the message "The application VLC Remote (process
org.peterbaldwin.client.android.vlcremote) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try
again" The options I have at that point are "Force close" and "Report".

What version of VLC Remote are you using?
Beta (0.5.3)

What version of VLC are you using?
1.1.11

What version of Android are you using?
2.3.7 (2.6.35-palm-tenderloin|erik@myhost #37)
CyanogenMod-7.1.0-tenderloin-alpha3

Which Android device are you using?
HP Touchpad

Please provide any additional information below.
Unlikely to be an error due to the alpha CyanogenMod, as the Hobbyist VLC
Remote (and all other Market apps that I downloaded) works fine.
