New colormap design #4

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
I found the following two color pickers both based on V-Vent:

http://bitbucket.org/aquarius/mncolorpicker/
http://bitbucket.org/bunnyhero/bhcolourpicker/

They both have another colormap design, which I like more than the one from
iphone-color-picker.
BHColourPicker draws the colormap, MNColorPicker loads it from an image.

So here are my two requests for iphone-color-picker:

Please implement the new colormap design from the pickers mentioned before.
Please also implement a new delegate for continuous color updates.

Thanks for finding these two good-looking projects. I haven't had the time to
look through them carefully, but it looks like we could learn from them.

On an administrative note:

Typically, the owner of an issue is the person responsible for implementing the
changes described.

If you plan on making the necessary changes, please carry on and feel free to
bring up any points you wish to discuss, questions or advice, &c. If I'm
expected to implement the changes, there needs to be a discussion about the
benefits of importing the described features over just using those color
pickers in an app. An "accepted" status (along with assigning an owner) usually
means that the need has been acknowledged by those who are going to do the work.
