Tasks entered have no restrictions for input, whereas in the context of this product, it should have some restrictions (minimally alphanumeric characters and spaces)

Team's Response

In our application, the event planners may choose to label tasks with non-alphanumeric characters as well.

Some examples are:

  1. Pay $500 to caterer
  2. Book COM3-01-01 Room
  3. Invite Prof Damith & Prof Aaron

As such, dismissing this consideration as nonsensical input is not an accurate reflection of the needs that our target users may have. It would be overzealous and wrong for us to restrict non-alphanumeric characters.
