@sabmah Well, I am a little unhappy with all the things that are getting broken, but it isn't the end of the world. I would try to reattach the USB port now so that you don't lose the piece because you will probably end up needing it later and it would suck to have to find the part again. I would go to the EPL/LID and get their help. Reattaching that is not difficult but if you don't have any experience you need someone that can help you.

How did the fix go? Were you able to get help in the EPL/LID?
Please update the issue.
No. @hautruong36 is taking charge of this. I haven't got chance to ask the people in EPL. This will be a story or a task for upcoming sprint.
@hautruong36
Please update this issue with current information and a reference to the story being created in Taiga.
I don't have it the Flip 1.5. Sabin will give it to me on Monday.
Please close when the related task is completed and the USB is tested and is good. If you can't fix it in the next day or so, we should order another one just to make sure we can get things going soon.
so I spent sometimes discussing with people in LID today, and they told me that I can't use the oven since there plastic on the headers and inside the microUSB connector. They suggested to use the heat gun to heat up each side. The bottom of USB connector was deformed and couldn't stay flat on the board and 5 pins on the bottom were also deformed (they are not straight).

Ok, as per the meeting Wednesday we will be purchasing another Flip 1.5. This issue will be labeled as 'parts needed' and the purchase and usage of this new device will tracked here.
I ordered the new Flip immediately after our meeting on Wednesday and the new Flip was mailed out today, 4/18/16.
There is no estimated delivery time but it did say that it was shipped flat rate via USPS first class which takes 1-3 days. I'll update when it arrives.
@Kekahuna
Did the new Flip arrive and it is working? If so, please close this issue.
The new Flip arrived Saturday afternoon. I will take it to our cabinet in the LID later this afternoon. Hau is going to solder on the headers and run through any of the initialization for it since he did so last time.
The new Flip is ready and in use. As long as there aren't any firmware changes to the Flip we should be able to use both now. Having USB just allows us to power everything via USB instead of the drone battery.

The USB port on Flip1.5 came off while I was trying to power it. The drone battery had drained and I was trying to hook up USB to power the board but the port itself ripped right off. You can see in the picture.
The USB is not critical as of right now unless we need to download software or re-calibrate later on.
The USB port can solder-able but it has very tiny pins.
