As discussed in Issue #17, built-in TP should be turned OFF globally for the experimental branches "fast" and "private etc.". Depending on the branch and whether the user is new or existing, TP may need to be toggled when the addon is installed. We should ensure it is toggled correctly for each of our four branches:
Actual control: Vanilla FF with built-in TP ON in private windows only (Firefox's default)
Pseudo-control: built-in TP ON globally
Experimental branch, "fast": built-in TP OFF globally, study re-implements TP ON globally
Experimental branch, "private, etc." built-in TP OFF globally, study re-implements TP ON globally
Important: The built-in TP UI should also be turned OFF at the beginning of the study. The pref for that is "privacy.trackingprotection.ui.enabled", and turned back ON at the end of the study.
