[Linux] Inconsistency related to the tracker text displayed in new tabs #185

  1. Open the browser and navigate to a website (e.g. www.cnn.com).
  2. Press "Ctrl"+"t" keys in order to open a new tab.
  3. Repeat step 2 at least 3 times and observe the tracker text from each newly opened tab.

Thanks Carmen; this seems like a tricky one to figure out why it's not loading some of the time on Linux. I will take a look. I'd call this a P2, possibly a P3, since it happens every 3rd time a new tab page is loaded consecutively

I wonder, does it happen intermittently in other cases -- for example, does it sometimes not show any time the user opens a new tab, or only for this particular behavior, which is unusual?

@gregglind, what do you think about this one? P2? P3?

Okay, I tried this on my Linux VirtualBox in Unbranded Beta 59, and I could not reproduce it. The attached GIF shows me loading 6 tabs in a row with the modification showing each time. It's a little slow, due to the VirtualBox, but I tried making this video several times and I didn't see a single instance where the mod did not load into the page. Because this bug is on Linux only, demonstrates a weird use case that I don't see being a common behavior of the user, and I can't reproduce it, I am going to classify this as a WONTFIX P3.
