Cannot Find Amazon EC2 AMI #2

Hello, There are great, and very detailed instructions, on setting up an EC2 instance using a pre built AMI. I cannot find the AMI on the Marketplace or Community AMIs.

Hi there,

Sorry, Amazon has been slow with Thanksgiving to approve the AMI. I will give you a ping when they released it to the AMI Store.

Heard back from Amazon. They're moving slow. Here's their response:

"Thanks for the update. I found that your application is still in progress, so I’m going to escalate that to ensure it gets processed soon. I deeply apologize for the delay on that step and listing your product, we have been behind on approving new sellers lately due to other backlogged work.

We’ll get your product into our pipeline and start scanning it to prepare for publishing, and give you an update when that completes. You can view all files you’ve uploaded through the Management Portal file upload section, but when an AMI you gave us is being processed for listing we’ll give you frequent updates along the way."

Yeah, sorry it's taking amazon longer. They came back to us with some changes, we made them and resubmitted for approval. It's as long as putting a new app in Apple store :(.

Making progress. Amazon cleared the AMI however they want a dedicated website page for the product. The github product page is not something they'd like to use. So we're clarifying with them on what content they want on a webpage and handling that aspect as well so they can list the AMI in the store.

Do you have an update on when you expect the AMI to be released? Is it possible to share the AMI directly with us before it is placed into the store?

Amazon finished all the stuff and we got an email yesterday from them they are publishing it. It's imminent. I will post an update when it's done on their end.

I have GREAT news. Amazon just published the AMI in the AWS Marketplace. They said it may take few hrs to fully replicate but it's officially available. Thanks for the patience. If you need help running it please shoot me a private message.
