Dokan SSHFS not refreshing directory listings #99

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

At some point, I can no longer see any updates to directories that I've
previously listed. Removed and added files don't get reflected when hitting
refresh in Windows Explorer. This happens right off the bat, on a fresh
reconnect. (Initially amusingly, I'm not sure how to disconnect, which means
that any time I need to refresh directories, I take up another drive letter.)
Viewing actual file contents seems to still work as normal - I can see
updates to files just fine. I'm using dokan-sshfs-0.2.0.1226 on Windows XP
SP2.

quick patch:
in the notification area, you find the "SSH" icons of each mount.

If you right-click on the icon, you get two options:
- exit
- unmount

if you choose unmount, and then click again, you'll be presented with
- exit
- mount

choosing mount will present the "sshfs setting" dialog box again, with the
initial
settings still in it. Press "Connect" button. This allows to "remount" the
device,... which will - at least - have made a "refresh" of the filesystem.

Of course,... I would NOT do this while having files opened.

I just installed Dokan SSHFS and had the same problem (not refreshing remote
directories). Unfortunately, without proper refresh Dokan is not useful to me.

Dokan SSHFS 2.0.1226, Win Vista Pro 32.

Also, navigating to new dir was very slow, ~10 sec vs instant in WinSCP.
Finally,
cpu usage was 100% even after quitting.

SSHFS is a great idea, I'll wait and give it a shot again when these issues are
fixed.

Same issue

Are there other solutions than manual remount?
