Plugin checking for duplicates also during editing #3

Hi. It seems the plugin works only when adding a new Item. Is there any way to have it work also when somebody is editing a pre-existing Item? I explain: I'm using Dropbox plugin to import a bunch of new files, for each one of them a new Item is created; when users are editing the new files, I would like the plugin to let them know if they're trying to save an Item that has got, say, the same title of a pre-existing one. Would that be possible? Thanks

It doesn't work like that currently, but it's certainly possible to do with some modifications. Feel free to submit a pull request.

Hi. Unfortunately, I would have no idea where to start from; I was just hoping it could be a good suggestion for a new/extra feature :)

I've dug into this, and can confirm that your plugin works fine when editing an Item.

Rules are ignored when importing Items with Dropbox plugin, and also when batch-editing an Item.
