Why might you want to emulate Wemo? Well I wanted to be able to control my Node-RED Raspberry Pi using my Amazon Echo. The Echo has Wemo support built in so I thought I'd give it a try.

It would be nice if it would be possible to set the type for the on/off payloads like in the "stock" nodes.
so that you could choose boolean true/false as output instead of just string.
that would make things easier and safe me some split/change nodes after the wemo node.
