Reason:
Faster UI response. Make use of ExtJS Features.

Description:
At the moment every "link" or click loads the whole page. It would be better /
faster to make ajax requests (perhaps to the new API in v2).

I don't fill that such changes are really necessary. It requires a lot of
efforts, but benefits are very questionable. Time to prepare whole page or its
part are very close on server side. Modern browsers such as Chrome render pages
also very quickly.

You are right, I know. I just wanted to create this minor improvement.
I am using ExtJS in many projects for some years now and so i was wondering.
But anyhow - it is great as it is at the moment.

Another reason was, because i have read about the API available in version 2.0
or so. And so it would be a good bahviour (Eat your own Dogfood) to enhance the
UI to use this API by itself.

project.

Contributions are always welcomed : ) My experience in ExtJS is not so big. Owp
is only project where I use it. I'm glad to know that someone else who
interesting in Owp also knows ExtJS and probably could help me with interface
building.
