should we just redo this? or use this example as a broken pipeline? it's possible that some dependencies were not satisfied because of the version of nipype. we could try pinning it to something like 1.0.0 and i can try to find the version that it did use.

FYI I have put all the CI and formatting changes in a separate branch and opened PR #7 to get cleaner diffs
