Ask to save notes before you end a conference #15360

Yesterday I took notes in a conferencen and forgot to save or copy them before I ended the conference.

It would be great if I was asked if I want to save the notes when I end the conference. I click "end conference". The system tells me that there is text in the shared notes, and if I want to export them. I choose the format and download it. Done. The conference ends.

Alternatively the notes stay intact after you end the conference. So you can reenter it and save the notes. But I think it's a security/privacy feature that this isn't possible.

It's a good suggestion. The first step would be to expand the End Meeting dialog box

To include a warning that there are shared notes. The moderator could click 'No' and take a moment to save the notes.

Doing it later might be a bit more tricky as the meeting has ended. We would need to defer the ending of the shared notes (in Etherpad) and provide an alternative UI (no in Etherpad) to reach in and grab the shared notes.

The much easier approach would be to include the warning in the End Meeting dialog in the first step.

Perhaps it would be useful to notify the normal participants without other roles and the moderating members in a BBB conference accordingly.

The participants via the dialogue box as you said. The moderation via a Push notification?
