Upload a built .zip in Big Cartel admin #72

a feature req:

I'm using Dugway for my first Big Cartel theme and have just got to the point of wanting to deploy to show the client. So I dugway build and have a zip, but unless I'm being thick I now have to manually copy and paste the files in the Big Cartel admin. So while not actually part of Dugway this seems the best place to request the ability to upload the whole zip as a custom theme.

{Great work on Dugway so far. It definitely help to tip the balance in BC's favour when choosing a shop platform in a recent project, and has been a pleasure to use so far}

Thanks for the request Patrick. This is definitely the plan, and Dugway was the first step in getting us there. We're tracking this feature in Big Cartel directly, so I'm going to close this as a Dugway request, but be sure you're on our theme mailing list so you can be notified when this is available: http://themes.bigcartel.com

@landonconover Right now we're focusing our efforts on quite a few other bigger projects that will take some time (like overhauling the store admin) before uploading zips will be ready. It's definitely still a feature we'll be adding, but unfortunately we're not able to share any kind of timeline - really sorry about that.

As @mattwigham mentioned previously, we'll be sure to reach out to everyone through our developer newsletter when we have more details to share.

its 2019, any update? it's unclear to me where to upload the zip unless im missing something...
