Shipping Address dropdown doesn't work following adding an required extra field #173

Summary:

Checkout Shipping Address dropdown doesn't work if a required address field was added after the address was created.

Expected Behavior:

Some sort of feedback that the customer either needs to go to their account area and add the field or to contact customer support.

Actual Behavior:

Nothing happens

Steps to Reproduce (Bug Reports Only):

  1. Create a B2B company/account
  2. Go to the BC B2B dashboard and add a required Extra Field to the address.
  3. Go to the checkout and attempt to select the address.

Hi @jmahony I tried to replicate on my end but it seems to be working for me. I added an extra field, required with and without a default value.

and the dropdown still works

can you share a demo to see the steps you are following so i can try to replicate again?

Does it actually let you select the address?

Hi @jmahony! Yes, I can select any address from the dropdown, please see my recording:

Do you see any error in the console when trying to select the address?
