Faceted search issue when delete a selected filter #1493

There has a issue with faceted search when delete a filter from all selected filters, it delete another filter rather than the one I clicked.

For example, I have three selected items Accounting Business Ethics Communication image

Then I click "Business Ethics" to delete it, but it delete the first filters.

this is the data for selected filters, seems for the values with non-word characters, it will has this issue. filter-issues

We are having trouble reproduce thios . can you give repro on how products and filter to repro this

i tried customer field with values having words with space, could not repro

seems a a close related ticket of internal ticket we have https://jira.bigcommerce.com/browse/ES-252 "Product Filtering - Custom field filter values containing more than 1 word don't get deselected while other values are also selectedasBusiness Ethics` also has multipe words like the issue mentioned in interanl ticket

Hi @DRValbuena , the internal engineering ticket @bc-sandeep mentioned is still open. Are you no longer seeing the issue in newer versions?

@karen-white - oh we are still seeing the issue. I just misread his statement. Anyways, any update on this issue on when it will get fixed?

No new info on timeline, but I'll keep you posted! Hyphenating the filter name is one possible workaround, but we understand that won't be a viable solution in all cases. I'll note on the ticket that you're seeing this too (this helps us frame the priority), and will let you know when there's movement.
