What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. i could connect to the system on 3G, but now i cannot. i've rebooted the
machine, router, modem and everything. Still cannot reconnect. My girl's G1 can
connect (1.6 OS) on WiFi.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I see a socket error. The expected output would be control of the XBMC system
from my phone.

What version of XBMC Remote are you using?
The latest xbmc from the market.

Which Android device are you using (and which ROM, if custom)?
Android OS 2.1 (Cyanogen 5.8) on a G1.

Which XBMC revision are you running and on which platform?
Tried on Windows 7 x64 and Windows XP (main xbmc machine). The latest release.

Please provide any additional information below.

Do not check the "WLAN only" checkbox.
Check your XBMC IP.

This is a problem in your LAN setup not the remote. Please check the forum for
help.

My LAN setup is fine. Nothing has changed on my router side, and I have all the
proper ports open. It was working for a brief period of time, and then it
stopped working. I went to work, came back, tried to connect - nothing. I was
watching It's Always Sunny in the morning with the remote. It used to work on
my laptop and the other PC in here as well, same results.

The WLAN Only check box is in fact unchecked. It looks like it's attempting to
connect, because if I put a bad password / bad user name on it, it kicks out
faster. I've tried different skins as well, just in case. I've re-installed the
application on my laptop - and it's the same thing. Installed it fresh on my
desktop, same thing.

I'm sorry - WiFi only is unchecked. I've re-installed the APK on my phone as
well. I can ping everything internally from my phone via terminal, and I can
telnet into the port for XBMC. I've tried default ports, and the one that I
used previously. All providing the same result.

How is it a problem with the setup if it previously worked - changed nothing -
and then it stopped working?
