Add ability to enter hostname

What steps will reproduce the problem?
I have a computer on my network that I can normally access by giving a 
hostname.  The ip changes but the hostname remains the same.  Gmote is able to 
connect to this computer regardless of ip. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I have to type the ip address or it can't connect. 

What version of XBMC Remote are you using?
latest version v0.8.3-beta1 Revision 686

Which Android device are you using (and which ROM, if custom)?
HTC EVO

Which XBMC revision are you running and on which platform?
9.11-lucid3 on ubuntu 10.4

Please provide any additional information below.

Connecting by hostname works for me in 0.8.4-beta1 rev. 703. Try updating, see 
if that helps.

The EventServer does not work when I enter the hostname. It does work when I 
enter the IP address.

Browsing and selecting content does work, but it's much slower than a 
configuration with an IP address.
