Dear Tischi, I was wondering if one could not change the way you specify t and channels by providing a proper pattern matching field. If you know what you are doing it is quite powerful and easy to implement. This could be an additional entry to "Image files scheme". The user can choose between pre-configured settings or a regular expression.

You would like to have a free text where you could type?

Yes. This should do the job.

I think it could be a very good idea if you could also try to do this yourself. You just need to implement a different version of below Command where there are free text fields instead of the choices:
