Hi,
I use a vSphere controlled by others, and they set the usable IP ranges I am allowed to use. I have attempted to login to the VM built with the ISO to change the setting in the /opt/nighthawk/etc/nightHawk.json but cannot login with either 'nighthawk/nighthawk' or admin/nighthawk. I tried to edit the grub file and change the root password but that was unsuccessful.
I cannot remote using SSH, which i believe is due to the IP conflict, so I then looked at the ISO and attempted to change the nightHawkResponse-1.0.3.iso\postinstall\sysconfig\postinstall\sysconfig\ifcfg-eth0 file settings to set the IP to that assigned by vShpere and couldn't save the change ( i assume this was because I don't have an ISO editor) It would be so much easier if I could just login, is there another login and password or can i just build an instance in an OS of my choice?
I am new at this and a novice Linux user, but have built a CentOS VM and downloaded the tar file, I will build from scratch, no need to answer my previous question.
