Missing KSC biomes #2

Open jvdnbus opened 9 years ago

jvdnbus commented 9 years ago

Hi,

When collecting all science from the many, many biomes at KSC in Career Mode, I noticed there is a biome unlisted by default in the list (however it does get added at the bottom under Kerbin -> Surface). Its name is VABSouthComplex. I'm not sure if you can collect it when the VAB is fully upgraded as I don't have that upgrade yet.

I'm not sure if there are more when you haven't fully upgraded the buildings yet.

It was confirmed against the wiki.

If you can provide your persist.sfs i can verify against your file

My save is a bit buggy, still have to find out why but here it is;

Do you use extra planetary launch pads? I don't see a south vab anything on the wiki. Not to say it shouldn't be around. I still don't see much info on the wiki about "fly bys"

No, I don't.

I am able to verify the existence of "VAB South Complex" in stock KSP as a place where science can be done, similar to "R&D Main Building" and such. My VAB is at Facility Level 2. The location disappears when upgrading to Facility Level 3 -- that space is now part of "VAB Main Building". I wonder if any other KSP areas act like that.

On another note: according to the science page on the wiki: Flyby: Only the periapsis is within the SOI. :-)

This issue should have been resolved when the pull request was merged. Is it still a problem?

bigorangemachine commented 6 years ago

@mathuin no just haven't gotten it into gh pages yet

No worries! We are all very busy humans, just wanted to check in.
