Persistent connection/auto connection desired #128

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connection drops while on 3G
2. Connection drops while switch from 3G to WiFi and vice-versa
3. Option to auto-connection at startup if possible

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When connection dropped, there is no way to make it auto-connect

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Froyo on N1 with Cyonogen Mod 6.0.3

Please provide any additional information below.
It would be great for me if one pre-selected connection with automatically 
connect at phone startup.

No problem, it's working perfect.

If is possible, please consider if auto connect to VPN is possible.
