Using a BTT serial Touch Screen Display with the Kraken #7

Hi,

Can you use a BTT serial Display in Touch Screen Mode? I use an old 35TFT display in touch screen mode rather than emulated mode on my CNC machine for general jogging and tweaking settings. I use Marlin to drive my CNC so any Klipperscreen derivative is not relevant to my personal use case. I am now upgrading my steppers and using a Kraken to drive new Nema 23 motors. Is there any way I can connect the serial cable to the Kraken to drive the display in Touch Screen mode rather than emulated mode? Using the Touch Screen Mode is much more efficient for the processes I am using. Alternatively are there any BTT displays or equivalent that I can use with the Kraken that anyone knows of?

FYI for anyone else using a Touch Display in Marlin with the Kraken V1. I have got the a BTT 35TFT Touch Screen to work by connecting the serial connector to the SBC port on the Kraken but swapping the RX & TX pins on the connector.
