I've been trying for days now, it says FIRMWARE.CUR on the card. though I click the button on the screen to go to Marlin and there's NOTHING there. I placed the usb in the card, I've connected it to my computer with the usbc cord, the first few times my PC didn't recognize it. then Magically it finally found it about the 10th time. I can control the printer motors with Pronterface. the screen still tells me there's no printer attached. What am I missing? how do I get the printer to be recognized by the card?

I should add, I move the firmware.bin to the card and put it in and it comes out saying FIRMWARE.CUR, I also am not getting it to say that now. and I'm not getting the flashing status light, only the blue light, a green light and a red light.

If you want firmware to flash, check to make sure that you have NOT flashed firmware from the PC directly. If you have, you need to replace the bootloader. Please see the manual for flashing the bootloader.

Please not that it should no longer be necessary to install Java to use the STM32Cube software.

Alternatively you can use DFU mode to directly flash the Marlin firmware, but that is not recommended.
