Runaway temperature on new board #90

I just installed the skr mini e3 v1.1 DIP. When I preheat, the temperatures seem to fluctuate much more than with the stock bed and overshoot the target temp. Something is definitely wrong with the heated bed since that temperature just keeps climbing no matter what. I've triple checked my wirings, and I can't seem to find the issue. I've tried running with the pre-compiled firmware for the TMC2208 from here and with compiling my own firmware off Marlin 2.0.5 and had the same issue. I had the hot end fan and bed wires mixed up
