12v + USB #448

Is it safe to have 12v power and connect the board to USB?

I understand the power selection pin draws power from either 12v or USB but what about when you have both?

I am experiencing issues with this.

I read that this is a routing mistake on these boards. Its possible to get errors so some users masked the + pin on the usb cable with tape
