SKR 1.4 + TMC2209 UART + BTT Smart Filament Sensor = cut off the DIAG pin #466
For other user should be at least comment in documentation!
Something like, when you using Motion Filament Detection with configuration SKR 1.4 + TMC2209 UART - BTT Smart Filament Sensor (or similar type) you need to cut off the DIAG pin on the driver so that the switch can work normally.
FIL_RUNOUT_PIN P1_26 = cut off the DIAG pin on the driver E0
I spend last weak to searching what is wrong, why is motion not detected. After trying more version of Marlin (2.0.6, 2.0.7.2, last bugfix 2.0.8). Checking cabling, sensor, setting with FILAMENT_RUNOUT_SENSOR_DEBUG. Videos, documentation and nothing work.
Only here I found the problem solution, cut off DIAG pin:
