SKR V1.3 unrecognized by windows #482

I've come upon lots of isses of skr v1.3 not being recognized by windows (10) - but this one drives me crazy.

Both my skr v1.3's work perfectly on one of my computers, but I can't seem to make work any of those two on my personal one. device manager says there's an unknown usb device plugged in. I updated drivers, modified serial ports lines in firmware.bin, formatted the sd cards, tried with another brand new (and formatted also) sd card, repeated all previous actions on my second skr board, to no avail.

cmon board it's christmas just work already please

Just out of curiosity, what's the OS on the computer that connects? I have Windows 8.1 on my laptop, and I haven't been able to connect to my board either. It shows up as "Marlin USB Device" but won't show up in Pronterface.

It kind of sounds like a Windows 10 issue, but are you using an LCD, or just the board to the PC? Have you changed the baudrate?
