Heatbed MOSFET of skr v1.4 turbo overheats #545

I installed my new skr v1.4 turbo, everything works fine, except the heatbed. When ever I turn the heatbed on, the MOSFET heats up, it gets very hot I measured more than 100°C. The headbed is drawing 10A at 22V. The board should handle this?

The WSF3085 transistor used should handle 85A. If you are warming at 10A to 100 ° C there is something wrong.

Did you try to install the cooler?

mine got burned even before doing the first print. went for bigger printer update. new board, new hotend, getting the electronics outside the enclosure, converting to sensorless homing. just when i got everything done. while doing my estep calibration small smoke. but everything worked. since then when I power it up its starting to heat the bed and hotend immediately and have to turn it off within a minute as the hotend is almost at 300c. everything works on the board however. thinking of wiring the bed and hotend through an external one. Not sure at this point how much effort it will involve, but im not happy going back to the creality board and not willing to give up
