After SKR mini e3 V2 installed lcd just glows blue and will not function #373

I purchased and installed an SKR e3 v2 board and installed it on my ender 3 along with a bltouch v3.1. After i connected everything, the LCD is just lighting up blue and i can not get it to work. The LCD and cable are fine as i jut used them today with the stock board. The board is flashing the firmware because it changes to a .cur file. I have tried both the regular firmware from the BTT github (with bltouch removed) and the BLtouch firmware. PLEASE HELP!
