Heaters won't shut off after stopping print manually #8

After connecting the Lcd, it boots up fine. I can control the bed and extruder temperature with no issues. However, when I start a print and then manually hit Stop, the print stops, but the extruder and bed heaters stay at temperature. If I try to stop the temperature manually, it goes to zero for a split second but immediately goes back to 220 and 60 respectively. The heaters stay on and apparently can't be turned off other than shutting the power supply off. What's going on here?

Struggled with this for a few hours myself. You have to actually ENABLE the cancel and stop codes from within the TFT. They're in Menu > Settings > Feature > End Gcode after print / Cancel Gcode You can edit the code in the config.ini file.
