stop print tft loading infinitely #73

SKR mini e3 2.0 and tft 35 E3. When I try to print with the card directly on the card, the screen freezes in TFT touch mode, if I try to stop printing the screen keeps loading and does not go out and printing does not stop ..

already tried with this Copy to SD Card root directory to update BIGTREE_TFT35_V3.0.26.x

Could you please attach a screenshot which shows the issue and can you try with the display disconnect from the metal frame

Ok. For me this looks like that you configured the TFT that it can also print from on board SD card, but i guess the firmware of the SKR mini is not configured properly. Can you print from TFT SD card?

Hello, yes, I can print normally with the card inserted in the tft screen, or the problem only happens when you print with the card on the card.

Yes, it prints normally with the card or poen drive on the TFT screen

Hi. So i changed the firmware of the TFT to work also with on board sd card even thesd support is turned off in Marlin of the skr board. When i select print from SD Card i get immediately an m117 error. So your problem must be something different. What is the size and format of the sd card you try to print from?

So i wanted to know what the problem is, and i can print from the SD card of the mainboard - this means i can not reproduce this issue.

But the problem with the end gcode is reproducible, and in the meantime this is a known issue and there is a fix which can be applied manually: https://github.com/bigtreetech/BIGTREETECH-TouchScreenFirmware/issues/898

No idea why your print doe snot start, but maybe this can be answered once you let us know more about the SD card you are using.

In the repository the firmware appears as being 21 days ago, I updated the tft with it, and it continues the same way

I installed the 2 firmware versions to no avail, still failing to communicate when I try to print with the card on the card in TFT mode. I have already tested 5 cards in formatted in fat 32 and they all have the same problem.

There is no use the problem continues. It is not the memory card, because when I use it directly on the tft screen it works perfectly. The problem happens with the communication of the screen with the card when I try to print from the card on the card. The printer starts warming up the table and the nozzle, but the information is not updated on the Touch screen. In marlin mode it works perfect.

Hello, the issue that was stated in the OP's opening post. Source was compiled from revision 4f2c665c (the latest).

System: Marlin 2.0.6.1 (Oct 7 2020 09:53:57) Board: BIGTREETECH_TFT_E3_V3.0 Firmware: TFT35_E3_V3.0.26.x Sep 30 2020

So when you stop a print in TFT mode where the print is done using the on board sd card.

Please check the open and closed issues of the btt firmware repository and start a new issue there in case you can not find the right answer. This repository is related to the hardware it belongs to but the issue is not hardware but software related.

Great to see you here.

But in case the owner of the ticket does what you recommend unused tickets like this will stay open for ever and then all repositories will end like the one for the SKR V1.3. Some user simply do not understand what is needed to keep such systems usable - or they do not care.

I did everything possible, but I still have the same problem .. do not print with the card on the motherboard.

OK, I am testing in the next few hours using the official Marlin v2.0.7 (not 2.0.7.1) and this TFT firmware where I only changed the environment to the E3 env: https://github.com/guruathwal/BIGTREETECH-TouchScreenFirmware

yours works as it should. I tried another card and the problem continues. I can only think it's the display .. I bought a new one and I'm waiting for delivery
