TMC2209 is an ultra-silent motor driver IC for two-phase stepper motors. Its continuous drive current is 2A and peak current is 2.8A. Compared with TMC2208, the driving current of this IC is not only improved by 0.6a-0.8a, but also this IC increases the function of locked-motor test.
I bought a kit to build a Voron V2.4 on AliExpress, and one of the BigTreeTech TMC2209 modules isn't working.
I tried swapping the driver, and whichever motor it has to control, won't move. Nonetheless, the motor is turned on and holds its position, but it won't move.
Is there a way to diagnose the problem with the driver, or should I buy a new one?
