i just got my ebb36 running, and it seems like everything is working besides my fans, so i don't know what I'm supposed to do

The pins on the fan plugs are inverted.

Remove the red and black wires from the plug using a precision needle and reinsert them swapping their positions. I had this problem while coming from a Fysetc V0 kit with umbilical setup to an EBB36 CAN.
