2 months ago For those of you looking for a 3d model of the Hermit Crab V2 Canbus I have finalised the models - The PCBS were created by BTT and can be found in the hermit crab git.

It was bought up on the facebook group that STEP files of the die castings for the Hermit Crab V2 etc were not yet available only step files of the boards. It was said that it would be bought up and rectified shortly.
Several week on and still no step files
Also strill no resolution to the matter that there are not enough cable sets provided. the Hermit Crab v1 comes with a cable set per tool plate - stepper cable, probe cable and Runout sensor cable. 3 cables of each type (one per tool plate)
Hermit crab V2 comes with 3 tool plates and only one set of cables - this also was meant to be being resolved according to the facebook group.
I've been generally happy with BTT products (Hermit crab 1 was very good) however i'm feeling a bit of regret at buying the hermit crab V2 currently
