Software PWM for fans - does this affect extruder and bed heater? #81

Question. I've had to enable Soft PWM to get my fans to behave properly. With Hardware PWM the fans were noisy and not controlling properly.

Does enabling Soft PWM affect the control of the bed and the extruder heater? Since I've done this, both seem to be heating a LOT slower than with hardware PWM. Could be something else has gone wrong, but its a mystery as to what?

I had a similar problem only mine would ignore the preheat gcode if I enabled the E0 fan to turn on at temperature.
