Controlling backlight #12

Is there a way to control the backlight via software?

I’ve set my klipperscreen to turn off the screen after 30 minutes, however this only turns the screen black. The backlight is still on and shines through on the corners.

Same issue here. Would be nice to know if the hardware is capable of or if it is "only" a software issue.
