7 years ago Implement this as a first stage: The label tree overview page gets extended with example annotations. If a user selects a label of the tree, a few example annotations are displayed (if the user is allowed to see any). This will depend on the Largo module that generates the annotation patches.
As a next step that we don't want to implement right now we might allow a description text for each label.
Brett from NOC showed me their "species guide" which is a website that shows different species with example images and a short description. On the left there is a menu with the species tree (like a label tree) and on the right are example images and the description as text.
We could do this automatically if we allowed users to enter a description text for each label or even better automatically fetch and parse the descriptions from WoRMS.
