Hi Mike, I am trying to connect "MoesHouse thermostat" to my own android application and I am curious if you have some source so i can solve my problem? I searched for custom firmware to flash thermostat but didn't found anything useful because I have no idea how to control thermostat's custom LCD display.

I don't have any information on controlling the thermostat with the stock firmware. The custom firmware is only for the wifi module and it cannot control the LCD display.

Mike, I don't find any documentation on how to flash the firmware. Do I have to open it and flash it via fddi or is there an OTA method like tuya convert. Will the LCD display work as before?

You can use Tuya Convert to do an OTA flash or disassemble and use wired connection. Flash at your own risk. If you don't know what you are doing, then best to stick to the smartlife app

Tuya Convert worked for me with the "Moe's House" BHT-002GCLW. It's just a rebadged Beca Energy unit.

OK, I have a Floureon C17.GH3. As Tuya Concert makes a backup of the existing firmware, it might be possible to flash back to original firmware. I will report if I succeed.

I never tried the Tuya Convert. That sounds much easier than what I had to do to flash the C17.GH3!
