metadata_host question #25

Hi

in control node, nova.conf

metadata_host=100.10.10.51

but in network node /etc/quantum/l3_agent.ini:

metadata_ip = 192.168.100.51

whether have problem?

Hi,

There is no problem at all:

1- Compute node talks to controller node via the management network (100.10.10.X) 2- Network node (containing the server of private networks) must reach metadata server via the public network so 192.168.100.X !
