Not able to connect to internet from the compute node #40

Following the multinode setup with three separate networks (isolated by port based vlan support on my switch). But, when I setup the compute node, I'm not able to connect to the public internet and therefore not able to use apt-get. Do I need to have a third interface on the compute node?

Hi Yen,

It really depends on what you have, some people use their eth1 to get packages first then re-edit it to use it in the VM conf network. Some have one way routing used on their management network ( 10.10.10.51 can get packages from internet) and some people just add another NIC !

There is a big variety of choice from which you can choose depending on what you have in your hardware disposal.
