Error Loading File on OSX 10.6.8 #120

What steps will reproduce the problem?
When I try and read eeprom from my transmitter it displays the following error
message:

"Error loading file /var/folders/w4/w4hLT9blFViX0uPfkm+M9++++TI/-Tmp-/temp.hex:
File may be corrupted, old or from a different system."

I can successfully use avrdude to read and write eeprom mem through terminal,
and the dialog box confirms that avrdude is connecting and downloading the file
in eepe; it just seems to be unable to open the file after reading from the
transmitter.

I can also read and write the files using eepe on my windows xp through vmware
successfully, it only seems to be on the mac osx version.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I have ran the svn checkout through terminal and eepe states that I am using
r-277. I have OSX 10.6.8 as well as the QT files and all avr files installed
and running properly.

Like I said, I am still able to run it through Wun XP, so not a huge deal, just
thought that you might like to know the issue!

Thanks for all your hard work in the RC community!

You need to upgrade eepe.
Download the latest Mac build from the front page. That will solve your
problem.

Also make sure you're running the latest build of er9x.

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately i am having a new problem. It now tells me
"You can't open the application eepe.app because it is not supported on this
type of Mac."

What are the system requirements?

I have an Intel Core Duo proc with 2GB ram and 10.6.8.

Is OSX 10.7 required?

OK,

I suggest you ask here:
http://9xforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=16

The mac build is still in-process. You'll get proper help on that thread.
