As a Student,
I want to upload a photo, write a tiny reflection, and submit them into a "happy stream" or an "unhappy stream"
So that I can easily express/track how I'm feeling and why I'm feeling that way.
As a Student,
I want to browse mood photo journals of my peers,
So that I can see what makes them happy/unhappy & can feel connected to people like me.
Hypotheses
We believe students will add photos+captions and categorize them into either a "happy" or "unhappy" column.
We'll know we've succeeded when users steadily add 2 image/captions every 3 days for 8 weeks in a row.
We believe students will browse the image/caption journals of their peers.
We'll know we've succeeded when users press the "Me 2" button or re-pin images from their peers' journals onto their own journals (by pressing "respout") 7 times per day for 8 weeks in a row.
Assumptions
We think that Students who feel emotionally overwhelmed want a tool that lets them understand their ups & downs and express their feelings.
We think that Students prefer expressing themselves with images because it is a easier, more effortless medium of expression.
We think that Students will feel supported if they receive feedback from their peers through a Me2 button & respout button (see png).
We think that Peer feedback will reinforce a student's habit of adding to their image/caption journal.
