Filtering of the feed by feed ownership (C4) #146

From the main screen user can filter the feed by his entries, his followed members entries, entries by specific type (see idea D7).

Comment:

Would that mean that there would be no separate page where a user's feed was available? In what you envision, would there be a profile where each user's entries were aggregated?

Yes, I think there should be a separate screen for profile data and feed for each user - the standard approach on social networks, but I think there also could be an easy way just to view your entries without leaving the main feed/board. So when the logged in user is on the main feed/board page he/she can toggle between all, his/her entries and his/her followed users entries

Excellent. I like this idea!

In this view, a user will only be able to see their entries, but not alter or add in any way, correct?

I think in this view, a user should be given the opportunity to "remove my entry." This way users know they have complete control over their entries in the main feed.

Their entries automatically upload to the public, but they can be easily removed as well.

I think we should go with filtering by type (e.g. clickbacks, entries with feedback, etc) b/c since members have usernames, not real names, I think users will be able to recognize usernames more than recall them.

Given this, I think users should have a list of their followers & be able to access their profile data and feed from there. As well, they can access another user's profile & feed by clicking their username in the public feed.

As I mentioned in a previous comment, I do, however, think a user should be able to filter the public feed for their entries & have the ability to remove an entry. This gives users more control of their personal entries.
